Swiss lemonade

What do you get when you mix limes, water, condensed milk and Brazilians? Swiss lemonade. As the friend who introduced me to this "sacriligeously good" drink lamented, "it's too bad condensed milk is so fucking bad for you because its too good". (Recipe from Brazilian Kitchen Abroad, rewritten here for easy access / in case that website goes down for whatever reason.)
The ingredients
For the pancake:
- 5 limes
- 1/2 cup of condensed milk (one can is usually one cup)
- 4 cups of water
- ice
Equipment necessary:
- A mixing bowl
- Some sort of electric blender
- A sieve or strainer
- A pitcher
The process
- Take four limes and cut them into quarters. Keep the skin on.
- Add the cut limes, the condensed milk, and the water to a mixing bowl, or whatever container you use to blend food.
- Blend the mixture for 15s.
- Put a sieve or strainer over the pitcher and separate the limeade from the solid bits.
- Cut the last lime in half and squeeze the juices into the pitcher.
- Stir and serve with ice.
